Professional Harpist, Heather Finley, regularly performs in the Houston area for weddings, special events, local orchestras, churches, and chamber music groups.  She also teaches harp lessons to students of all ages and ability levels. 

Heather earned her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance at Sam Houston State University in 2015 under the direction of Paula Page, the former harpist of the Houston Symphony.  To extend her musical training, Heather participated in the Talis Festival & Academy in Saas-Fee, Switzerland and the MasterWorks Festival. 

As an orchestral musician, Heather performs
with local orchestra including the Galveston Symphony, Clear Lake Symphony, Baytown Symphony, and Pasadena Philharmonic Orchestra. She has experience with various wind ensembles, choirs, and chamber music groups. 

As a freelance musician, Heather enjoys performing regularly for weddings and special events in the Greater Houston Area. She has played at various elegant venues around the city like the Hotel Galvez, Olde Dobbin Station, and The Bell Tower. 

Heather fell in love with the harp at an early age after being inspired by Walt Disney’s Fantasia. Her passion is to inspire others to love the harp, and she enjoys teaching private harp lessons out of her home in Friendswood, Texas.
